The campaign of collecting donations for the documentary about the assassination has begun.

It is usually said in these campaigns that donations are being collected because the crew is “lacking the means”… We are not lacking the means – we simply lack money. The most important means for shooting a documentary about what is usually called “the political background of the prime minister’s assassination” those we’ve got – we’ve got the knowledge, brains, experience, honor and especially a strong need to make such a film. Thinking about how to collect the money for it, we concluded that this film should be financed by those who care. Those who walked behind the casket, as we refer to them, regardless of whether they walked physically or spiritually. If we will not do it – who will? And if not now – when? For this is not only the right moment to do it, it might be the last moment possible. That is why we named this campaign “1 Euro Per Listener” although the donations are made in dinars. It is because the Euro represents the road to which prime minister Djindjic had led Serbia, but also because if we don’t make the film now, next time we might be forced to collect your donations in rubles.
