History in the making 2014-1914 (1878): The case of Bosnia and Herzegovina

„For decades a war of interpretations has been waged across this region. In the case of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with numerous special interests, it is easy to overlook the simplicity of the truth – which is clear when you consider only the facts.“

Suada Kapić & FAMA Team (authors/editors/creators Miran Norderland, Asja Hafner, and Davor Vidović), would like to invite you to view their latest project which will have its premier on the Internet – across selected portals. Production: FAMA Methodology – R2.1 – Videor Studio.

Using a methodology of documentary animation the case of Bosnia and Herzegovina is placed/observed in a historical context between 1878 and 2014. Starting with the Congress of Berlin when Bosnia and Herzegovina was handed over to the Austro-Hungarina Empire rule, and following through Sarajevo assassination, the First World War, creation and capitulation of the first Yugoslavia, the Second World War, creation and fall of the second Yugoslavia, Dayton Peace Accords agreement, post-Dayton Bosnia and concluding with demonstrations and social protests/unrest of February 2014. The primary focus is on the reconstruction of Sarajevo assasination event (28 June 1914).

This educational video, in duration of 60 minutes, is accompanied with the ‘Topics for Consideration’ (editor Asja Hafner) – whereby experts are invited to share their views, opinions and analysis in a form of a Public Lecture for the Balkans. By opening up the knowledge to the masses one can stabilize both the present and the future as a counterbalance to political manipulations of facts and evidences.
